5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br /> ~2 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />~6 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />2~ <br /> <br />GP-8-867 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 16707 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT <br /> OF THE RIVERSIDE GENERAL PLAN BY DELETING THE MEDIUM <br /> LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM <br /> APPROXIMATELY 1.4 ACRES AT 3485 MADISON STREET, GENERALLY <br /> LOCATED NORTHEASTERLY OF MADISON STREET AND THE RIVERSIDE <br /> FREEWAY, AND BY PLACING THIS PROPERTY IN THE RETAIL <br /> BUSINESS AND OFFICES LAND USE DESIGNATION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside <br />advertised for and held a public hearing on September 18, 1986 <br />to consider an amendment to the Land Use Element of the <br />Riverside General Plan as proposed by Case GP-8-867; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Environmental Protection Commission of the <br />City of Riverside considered this amendment on September 10, <br />1986 and determined that this amendment will not have a <br />significant effect on the environment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Riverside <br />advertised for and held a public hearing on October 21, 1986 to <br />consider the proposed amendment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br /> <br />the City of Riverside, California, that the City Council finds <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. It is in the public interest to amend the Land Use <br />Element of the Riverside General Plan as more particularly <br />described below. <br /> <br /> 2. The amendment will not have a significant effect on <br />the environment. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Land Use Element of the <br />Riverside General Plan is hereby amended by deleting the Medium <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />RI V E RSI DE <br /> CALl FORNIA <br /> <br /> <br />
