1 2 7 8 9 10 11 lP 13 15 16 17 18 19 20 a3 25 26 27 VAC-5-878 follows: RESOLUTION NO. 16698 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THE INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF THIRTEENTH STREET BETWEEN RIVERSIDE 91 FREEWAY AND VINE AND ALLEY ON NORTH- WESTERLY SIDE OF VINE STREET NORTHEASTERLY OF THIRTEENTH STREET; REFERRING TO A MAP ON FILE AND RESERVING PERMANENT EASEMENTS AND RIGHTS OF WAY FOR ELECTRIC ENERGY FACILITIES AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 8340 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE, AND DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE RESERVATION OF SUCH EASE- MENTS AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 8341 OF SAID CODE; AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING. RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside as 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, to vacate a portion of Thirteenth Street approximately 16 feet wide by 45 feet long located between the Riverside 91 Freeway and Vine Street, and an approximately 16-foot-wide by 72-foot-long alley located on the northwesterly side of Vine Street northeasterly of Thirteenth Street, upon the grounds and for the reason that said portion of the street and the alley are unnecessary for present or future public use. The said City Council hereby elects and expresses its election to proceed to vacate said portion of the street and the alley pursuant to the provisions of the Public Streets, Highways, and Service Easements Vacation Law, being Sections 8300 et seq. of Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. 2. That the portion of the street and the alley which it is the intention of the City Council to vacate are located in the City of Riverside, County of Riverside, State of California, CITY ATTORNEY RIVERSIDE CALl FORNIA
