1 RESOLUTION NO.' 12982 A RESOLUTION'OF THE'CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE'GENERAL PLAN BY'CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN'PORTIONS OF THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED IN CASE NO. GP-1-767 TO A CLASSIFICATION DEEMED MORE APPROPRIATE BY THE CITY COUNCIL. 2 3 ~ l 5 6 7 WHEREA~ the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside 8 has duly advertised for and held a public hearing to consider an 9 amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan, said 10 public hearing being held at City Hall on September 8,1976, 11 and the Planning commission having considered the evidence pre- 12 sented at said hearing, and said Commission having recommended 13 to the City Council that said element of the General Plan be l~ amended in certain respects; and 15 WHEREAS, at its regularly scheduled meeting of 16 September 29, 1976, the Environmental Protection Commission of 17 the City of Riverside determined that said proposed amendments 18 would not have a significant adverse effect on the environment; 19 and 20 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Riverside has 21 duly advertised for and held a public hearing to consider said 22 proposed amendments to the Land, Use Element of the General Plan, 23 said public hearing being held at the City Hall on October 26, 2~ 1976 and December 14, 1976, and the City Council having con- 25 sidered the evidence presented at said hearing and having 26 considered the finding of the Environmental Protection Commis- ( 27 sion and the recommendation of the Planning Commission; and 28 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the 29 public interest or convenience to amend the Land Use Element 30 of the General Plan, such amendments being more particularly 31 described hereinafter; 32 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the city Council CIT't AnO"N"V "IVIl...1Da CAt.l,.OI'tNrA
