VAC-3-778 <br /> <br /> 13 <br /> <br /> 15 <br /> 16 <br /> l? <br /> 18 <br /> 19 <br /> <br /> 26 <br /> <br /> 29 <br /> <br /> 31 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13355 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING TEE INTENTION <br />TO VACATE 100 FEET OF THE NORTH-SOUTH PORTION OF <br />AN ALLEY AND TUE EASTERLY 1~5 FEET OF THE EAST- <br />WEST PORTION OF AN ALLEY BOUNDED BY ORANGE, LEMON, <br />llTH AND 12TH STREETS; EEFERRING TO A MAP ON FILE <br />AND I~SERVING PERMANENT EASEMENTS AND RIGHTS OF <br />WAY FOR AERIAL ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES, <br />UNDERGROUND TELEP]{ONE, TELEG}~PH AND COMMUNICATION <br />FACILITIES, AND FOR SANITARY SEWER AND STORM DRAIN <br />FACILITIES AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 8330 OF THE <br />STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE, AND DETERMINING THAT <br />THE PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE TUE <br />RESERVATION OF SUCH EASEMENTS AS PROVIDED IN <br />SECTION 8331 OF SAID CODE; AND FIXING THE TIME <br />AND PLACE OF }{EARING. <br /> <br /> RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That it is the inbentJon of the City Council of <br />the City of Riverside, California, to vacate 100 feet of the <br />north-south portion of an alley and the easterly 175 feet of <br />the east-west portion of an alley bounded by Orange, Lemon, <br />llth and 12th Streets, upon the grounds and for the reason <br />that the porLions of said alleys are unnecessary for present <br />or future public use. The said City Council hereby elects <br />and expresses its election to proceed t~ vacate portlons of <br />said alleys pursuant to the provisions of the Street Vacation <br />Act of 1941, being Section 8300 et seq. of Part 3, Division 9 <br />of the Streets and Eighways Code of the State of California. <br /> <br /> 2. That the portions of the alleys which it is the <br />intention of the City Council to vacate are located in th~ City <br />of Riverside, Coui%ty of Riverside, State of California, and <br />are more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br /> The Southwesterly 85 feet of thc Northeasterly <br /> 217 feet of that certain 20 foot wide alley, as shown by <br /> map of Pri¢!stley Uall's Subdivision, recorded in Book 1 <br /> of Maps, at Page 1 thereof, records of Riverside <br /> County, california, together with the southeasterly <br /> ]75 feet of that certain 13 foot wide alley, as shown <br /> by said map; <br /> EXCEPTING therefrom the Northwesterly 10 feet <br /> of the Southwesterly 5 feet of the Northeasterly 137 <br /> <br /> <br />
