2 3 4 5 7 8 9 20 23 25 27 29 30 1/28/82 RESOLUTION NO.14606 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, ~4AKING CERTAIN FINDINGS REGARDING WRITTEN PROTESTS AND ORDERING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN CONTIGUOUS UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED THEREIN AND DESIGNATED AS "CITY OF RIVERSIDE LAFC 81-41-5 (ANNEXATION NO. 82--PALMYRITA-GAGE II)" TO THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE AS OF MARC}{ 15, 1982. WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of the Mdnicipal Organization Act of 1977, being Part 2 of Division 2 of Title 4 of the Government Code of the Slate of California (commencing with Section 38000), proceedings were initiated by the City Council of the City of Riverside on its omi motion to annex to the City of Riverside that certain hereinafter described uninhabited territory contiguous to said City, which territory is designated as "City of Riverside LAFC 81-41 5 (Annexation No. 52--Pa]myrifa Gage II)"; and WHEREAS on December 15, 1981, the City Council did pass and adopt Resolution No. 14578 giving notice of the proposed annexation and the reasons therefor, and setting the time and place for the hearing of written protests against the annexation made by any person owning real property w~thin the territory proposed to be annexed; and WHEREAS on January 26, 1982, in accordance with Resolution No. 14578, the City Council did hold and conduct such hearing; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the City of Riverside, California, as follows: Section 1: That the City Council finds and determines that protests by owners of la;Ed and improvements valued at 50% 81 41 5 (Ann(!xation No. 52--Palmyrita Gage ii)" were not made.
