VAC 3-812 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO.14609 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RIVERSIDE, CALIFOP~IA, MAKING ITS FINDINGS AND <br />DETERMINATIONS IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION OF <br />~NTENTION NO. 14589; RESERVING PERMANENT EASE- <br />MENTSAND RIGHTS OF WAY FOR SANITARY SEWER, GAS LINE <br />AND STORM DRAIN FACILITIES AND FOR AERIAL AND <br />UNDERGROUND TELEPHONE, TELEGRAPR~ COMMUNICATION, <br />AND ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES AS PROVIDED <br />IN SECTION 8340 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE, <br />AND DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND <br />NECESSITY REQUIP~ THE RESERVATION OF SUCH EASEMENTS <br />AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 8341 OF SAID CODE; AND MAKING <br />ITS ORDER VACATING A PORTION OF FREMONT STREET <br />EXTENDING NORTHERLY FROM iNDUSTRIAL AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS on December 22, 1981, the City Council of the <br />City of Riverside adopted Resolution NO. 14589 declaring its <br />intention to order the vacation of a portion of Fremont Street, <br />extending northerly from Industrial Avenue, and fixing the time <br />and place of hearing all persons interested in the proposed <br />vacation, pursuant to the provisions of the Public Streets, <br />Highways, and Service Easements Vacation Law, being Sections <br />8300 et seq, of Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways <br />Code of the State of California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS said proposed vacation was submitted to and acted <br />upon by the Planning Commission of tile City of Riverside and <br />notice of hearing said resolution was given as provided by said <br />Public Streets, Highways, and Service Easements Vacation Law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS on the day fixed for the hearing the City Council <br />heard and found and hereby finds from all of the evidence submitted <br />that the portion of Fremont Street ordered vacated is unnecessary <br />for present or prospective public use; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br />the City of Riverside, California, that the portion of Fremont <br />Street ill the City of Riverside, County of Riverside, state of <br />California, described in the document attached hereto, marked <br />Exhibit A, and by this reference made a part hereof, be and the <br />same is hereby vacated. <br /> <br /> <br />
