RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside as follows: 1. That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, to vacate a ~ortion of Grifflth Street, northerly of Jurupa Avenue, u~on the grounds and for the reason that said portion of the street is unnecessary for present or future public use. The said CiEy Council hereby elects and expresses its election to proceed to vacate said portion of the street pursuant to the provisions of the Public Streets, Highways, and Service Easements Vacation Law, being Sections 8300 et seq. of Part 3, Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. 2. That the portion of the street which it is the intention of tile city Council to vacate is located in the City of Riverside, County of Riverside, State of California, and is more particularly decribed in the document attached hereto, marked Exhibit A, and by this reference made a part hereof. 3. That the portion of the street sought to be vacated is shown on a certain map on file with the City Clerk of the City of Riverside, california, and reference is hereby made to said map on file. 4. TDat the time and place for hearing of persons interested in the proposed vacation is hereby fixed as Tuesday, February 9, ]982, at 1:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Riverside city Council located adjacent to the City }]all, 3900 Main Street, Riverside, California. 5. '£hat notice of the proposed vacation, as hereinabove set forth, shall be posted conspicuously along the lines of
