3 <br /> <br />20 <br />23 <br />26 <br />29 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 14290 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT <br /> OF THE RIVERSIDE GENERAL PLAN BY DELETING APPROXIMATELY <br /> 6.5 ACRES OF LAND SITUATED ON TNE NORTNEASTERLY SIDE <br /> OF ROSSELL STREET SOUTHEASTERLY OF ORANGE STREET FROM <br /> THE MEDIUM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL LAND USE DESIGNATION <br /> AND BY PLACING SUCH LAND IN THE HIGH DENSITY INDOSTRIAL <br /> LAND USE DESIGNATION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside <br />has duly advertised for and held a public hearing to consider <br />the proposed amendment to the Land Use Element of the Riverside <br />General Plan, the public hearing having been held at City Hall <br />on November 21, 1979, and the Planning commission bas considered <br />the evidence presented at the hearing, and has recor~mended to <br />the City Council that the Land Use Element of the N~verside <br />General Plan be amended; and <br /> <br /> WREREAS the Environmental Protection Co~ission of the <br />City of Riverside has considered this amendment at its regular <br />meeting held at City Hall on ~ovember 2S, ]979 and h~s determined <br />that the proposed amendment to the General Plan w~ll not ]lave a <br />significant effect on the environment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the City Council of the C~ty of Riverside has <br />duly advertised for and held a public bearing to consider the <br /> <br />the public hearing having been held at City Nall on December 26, <br />1979, and the City Council has considered the evidence presented <br />at tha hearing, and Das considered the recommendations of the <br />Planning Commission a~d the Environmental Protection Cou~ission; <br /> <br /> NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESO¥~ED by the City Council of <br />the City of Rivers]de that the City Council adopts as i~s <br />findings the Planning Staff Report and the Environmental Assess- <br />ment on Case GP-6-790 and further finds as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. It is ~n the public interest or convenience to amend <br />the Land Use Element of the General Plan as more particularly <br /> <br /> <br />
