3 20 23 26 29 RESOLUTION NO. 14290 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE RIVERSIDE GENERAL PLAN BY DELETING APPROXIMATELY 6.5 ACRES OF LAND SITUATED ON TNE NORTNEASTERLY SIDE OF ROSSELL STREET SOUTHEASTERLY OF ORANGE STREET FROM THE MEDIUM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL LAND USE DESIGNATION AND BY PLACING SUCH LAND IN THE HIGH DENSITY INDOSTRIAL LAND USE DESIGNATION. WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Riverside has duly advertised for and held a public hearing to consider the proposed amendment to the Land Use Element of the Riverside General Plan, the public hearing having been held at City Hall on November 21, 1979, and the Planning commission bas considered the evidence presented at the hearing, and has recor~mended to the City Council that the Land Use Element of the N~verside General Plan be amended; and WREREAS the Environmental Protection Co~ission of the City of Riverside has considered this amendment at its regular meeting held at City Hall on ~ovember 2S, ]979 and h~s determined that the proposed amendment to the General Plan w~ll not ]lave a significant effect on the environment; and WHEREAS the City Council of the C~ty of Riverside has duly advertised for and held a public bearing to consider the the public hearing having been held at City Nall on December 26, 1979, and the City Council has considered the evidence presented at tha hearing, and Das considered the recommendations of the Planning Commission a~d the Environmental Protection Cou~ission; NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESO¥~ED by the City Council of the City of Rivers]de that the City Council adopts as i~s findings the Planning Staff Report and the Environmental Assess- ment on Case GP-6-790 and further finds as follows: 1.
