CORRECTED 1 2 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 ~3 15 16 17 ~8 19 20 21 22 2~ 25 26 CITY ATTORNEY RIVE R,51 DE CALl FORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 17016 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS FOR THE PER CAPITA GRANT PROGRAM UNDER THE CALIFORNIA WILDLIFE, COASTAL AND PARK LAND CONSERVATION ACT OF 1988 FOR THE FAIRMOUNT PARK REHABILITATION PROJECT. WHEREAS the people of the State of California have enacted the California Wildlife, Coastal and Park Land Conservation Act of 1988, which provides funds to the State of California and its political subdivisions for acquiring and/or developing facilities for public recreational and open space purposes; and WHEREAS the State Department of Parks and Recreation has been delegated the responsibility for the administration of the program within the State, setting up necessary procedures governing application by local agencies under the program; and WHEREAS said procedures established by the State Department of Parks and Recreation require the applicant to certify by resolution the approval of the applications before submission of said applications to the State; and WHEREAS said applications contain assurances with which the applicant must comply; and WHEREAS the applicant will enter into an agreement with the State of California for the acquisition or development o~ the project; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Riverside, California hereby: 1.
