1 2 5 6 7 8 9 10 ll 12 ~3 14 15 ~6 ~8 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 2~ RESOLUTION NO. 17011 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, ACKNOWLEDGING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A 10-FOOT WIDE STRIP OF LAND USED FOR STREET PURPOSES AND KNOWN AS A PORTION OF MITCHELL AVENUE. WHEREAS the following strip of land was reserved in the 1920's for road purposes by W. J. Hole, the original owner of the Rancho La Sierra; and WHEREAS said ten-foot-strip of land has been used for many years to provide vehicular, pedestrian and utility access to adjoiners between Arlington Avenue and the Rancho La Sierra property; and WHEREAS the strip of land has been shown as a public street on the records of the Assessor of Riverside County and has not been assessed to any adjoining property owner; and WHEREAS said strip of land was paved and repaired by Riverside County forces prior to the annexation of that area to. the City of Riverside; and WHEREAS said strip of land has been repaired and maintained by City forces since that area was annexed to the City of Riverside; and WHEREAS said strip of land has been used by the public for street purposes as a portion of Mitchell Avenue for at least 24 years, and prior to that it had been used by the public while in the County of Riverside for street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, that the following described strip or parcel of land located in the City of Riverside, County CITY ATTORNEY RIVERSIDE CALIFORNIA
