Hmmm. What would a tried of fact think about that
sudden change of perspective, I wonder?
I demand that (1) both the City and County immediately, unequivocally and publicly
state, in writing, that write-in candidacies for Riverside City Council seats are allowed in the
General Election of November 6,2007, (2) the official ballots given to the voters provide the
proper spaces on which write-in candidates' names can be entered by any voter who chooses to
do so, (3) the instructions to voters fully comply with the applicable state law in terms of telling
voters how they may write in the name of a candidate for whom they wish to vote, and (4) the
Registrar of Voters fully comply with all other applicable laws, including the laws that require
her to count and register write-in votes.

Sincerely,
~;? --
/>>l:?--a

_/7 /:J
L /r~.?'(\

Letitia E.
