On November 6, I hope you will vote to continue the positive change we have begun in Ward One. Crime is at an all time low. Jobs are at an all time high. The Fox Theater is being renovated. Downtown is coming alive. Fairmount Park has an approved master plan. Mt. Rubidoux, Evergreen Cemetery and every Ward One park is being improved. I have worked hard to preserve and protect neighborhoods through traffic calming measures, street, sidewalk, and lighting repairs, closing down illegal group homes, and addressing homelessness through services and enforcement. By conscientiously responding to constituent calls for service, and assisting 16 neighborhood groups, I've worked hard to serve you. These positive results are based on a willingness to listen, work together, and balance our common desire to preserve our heritage with the need to provide amenities we all expect from a twenty-first century city. Even my opponent now supports my efforts to get Tequesquite its long promised park, demonstrating how successful consensus building has been. While much has been accomplished, there's still much to do.
