<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AND <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />MINUTES <br />TUESDAY, OCTOBER 23,2007, 3 P.M. <br />ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />CITY HALL <br />3900 MAIN STREET <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Mayor Loveridge called the meeting to order at 3 p.m. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/PLANNING REFERRALS AND APPEALS <br /> <br />Councilmember Adkison disqualified himself from participating in the <br />following item as his firm Adkan Engineers has done work on this project. <br /> <br />CASE P05-1528 APPEAL PARCEL MAP 34059 <br />GRA TTON/CORISCA/VAN BUREN - CONTINUED <br />Further hearing was called relative to the appeal of Peter Paul and Brooke <br />Kelly and The Friends of Riverside's Hills of the Planning Commission <br />approval to subdivide approximately 254.34 vacant acres into 50 single-family <br />residential lots located easterly of Gratton Street, westerly of Corisca Avenue, <br />and northerly of Van Buren Boulevard. No one was present wishing to speak <br />on the matter. Following discussion, the City Council continued the matter to <br />3 p.m. on November 6,2007. <br /> <br />CASE P07-0297 - ZONING CODE - WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS <br />FACILITIES - CONTINUED <br />Further hearing was called on the proposal of the City of Riverside to amend <br />Title 19 of the Riverside Municipal Code as it pertains to wireless <br />communications facilities to (1) comply with Senate Bill 1627; and <br />(2) establish development and locational standards that would ensure <br />wireless communications facilities of high quality design. No one was present <br />wishing to speak on the matter. Following discussion, the City Council <br />continued the matter to 3 p.m., on December 4,2007. <br /> <br />CASES P07-0806, P07-0807, AND P07-0808 - VARIANCE, REZONING, <br />AND DESIGN REVIEW - 9431 INDIANA - ORDINANCE INTRODUCED <br />Hearing was called on the proposal of the Steve Whyld, on behalf of Kim <br />Robson, for a design review of an approximately 6,703-square-foot muffler <br />and brake shop, rezoning of approximately .34 vacant acre from <br />Zone R-1-65 to Zone M-1, and a variance to encroach 45 feet into the <br />required 50-foot side yard setback, 10 feet into the required 20-foot front yard <br />setback, and a lot to be 90 feet deep where a 100-foot minimum is required, <br />located at 9431 Indiana Avenue. One person spoke on the matter.
