<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AND <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />MINUTES <br />TUESDAY, OCTOBER 9,2007,3 P.M. <br />ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />CITY HALL <br />3900 MAIN STREET <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Mayor Loveridge called the meeting to order at 3 p.m. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/PLANNING REFERRALS AND APPEALS <br /> <br />CASE P07-0349 APPEAL ADMINISTRATIVE VARIANCE <br />4941 MAGNOLIA <br />Hearing was called relative to the appeal of Lynn Nevatt (Tiffany Brooks) of <br />the Zoning Administrator's denial to allow an existing five-foot seven-inch <br />high wall/fence where a maximum wall/fence height of four feet is permitted <br />located at 4941 Magnolia Avenue. No one was present wishing to speak on <br />the matter. Following discussion, the City Council approved the appeal and <br />granted the variance to allow the existing wall/fence to remain based on and <br />subject to the findings and recommended conditions as outlined in the written <br />staff report. <br /> <br />Councilmember Adkison disqualified himself from participating in the <br />following item and left the dais as his firm Adkan Engineers has done work on <br />this project. <br /> <br />CASE P05-1528 - APPEAL - PARCEL MAP 34059 - GRATTON/ <br />CORISCA/VAN BUREN - CONTINUED <br />Hearing was called relative to the appeal of Peter Paul and Brooke Kelly, and <br />The Friends of Riverside Hills of the approval to subdivide approximately <br />254.34 vacant acres into 50 single-family residential lots located easterly of <br />Gratton Street, westerly of Corisca Avenue, and northerly of Van Buren <br />Boulevard. Four people spoke on the matter. Following discussion, the City <br />Council continued the matter to 3 p.m. on October 23,2007. <br /> <br />Councilmember Adkison returned to the dais at this time. <br /> <br />ARLINGTON PARKING AND BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT AREA 2007-08 <br />LEVY - RESOLUTION <br />Hearing was called on a Resolution of Intention to levy assessments in the <br />Arlington Parking and Business Improvement Area (APBIA) for Fiscal Year <br />2007-08. Six people spoke on the matter.
