<br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AND <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />MINUTES <br />TUESDAY, AUGUST 14, 2007, 2:30 P.M. <br />ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />CITY HALL <br />3900 MAIN STREET <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Mayor Loveridge called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There were no comments presented at this time. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSIONS <br /> <br />The City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for closed <br />sessions pursuant to Government Code (1) S54956.9(b)(1) to confer with <br />and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning one case of anticipated <br />litigation; and (2) S54957.6 to review the City Council's position and instruct <br />designated representatives regarding salaries, salary schedules, or <br />compensation paid in the form of fringe benefits of all Executive Management <br />employees, all Management and Confidential employees as defined by <br />PERS, Fire Management Unit, Riverside City Firefighters Association, <br />Riverside Police Officers Association (Police and Police Supervisory Units), <br />Service Employees International Union #721, International Brotherhood of <br />Electrical Workers #47, and Riverside Police Administrators Association. <br /> <br />The City Council reconvened at 3 p.m. in the Art Pick Council Chamber with <br />Mayor Loveridge presiding. <br /> <br />AGENCY CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions <br />appropriate to each item with the Low- and Moderate-Income Housing Fund <br />item being removed from the agenda. <br /> <br />LOW- AND MODERATE-INCOME HOUSING FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />2007 -08 <br />This item was removed from the agenda. <br /> <br />RIVERSIDE RENAISSANCE - JOINT ITEM WITH THE CITY COUNCIL- <br />PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS - RESOLUTIONS - FUNDS TRANSFER - <br />ELIZABETH <br />The Redevelopment Agency (1) adopted a resolution making certain findings <br />regarding the installation of public improvements which are of benefit to the <br />Magnolia Center Redevelopment Project Area; and (2) approved the transfer <br />of $34,711, which includes a ten percent contingency, from the <br /> <br />93-46 <br /> <br />WARDS <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br /> <br />COUNCIL/AGENCY <br /> MEMBERS <br />B M G S A H A <br />E E A C 0 A 0 <br />T L G H K R A <br />R E E I I T M <br />0 N A S S <br /> 0 v 0 <br /> R 0 N <br /> E N <br /> Z E <br /> <br />1 2 3 4 5 6 7 <br /> <br />x X X X X X X <br /> <br />X <br /> <br />X <br />
