In order to facilitate the orderly, expeditious and efficient <br />transaction of City business, members of the public must preserve order and decorum and <br />shall not, by conversation or otherwise, delay or interrupt the proceedings nor refuse to <br />obey the orders of the City Councilor the presiding officer. <br /> <br />, I <br />PLEASE BE FURTHER ADVISED that the Brown Act permits the members of <br />the City Council to briefly respond to comments made by members of the public during <br />the public comment portion of the meeting. On January 16, 2007, your actions served to <br />interrupt and delay the proceedings. In the future, we would request that you conform <br />your conduct accordingly.
