In order to facilitate the orderly, expeditious and efficient <br />transaction of City business, members of the public must preserve order and decorum and <br />shall not, by conversation or otherwise, delay or interrupt the proceedings nor refuse to <br />obey the orders of the City Councilor the presiding officer. <br /> <br />PLEASE BE FURTHER ADVISED that your willful refusal to obey the orders <br />of the presiding officer and to conclude your comments within the time permitted on May <br />15, 2007, constitute violations of the City Council Meeting Rules. Furthermore, <br />California Penal Code section 403 provides that, every person who, without authority of <br />law, willfully disrupts or breaks up any lawful assembly or meeting, is guilty of a <br />misdemeanor. <br /> <br />You are therefore strongly encouraged to modify your conduct in accordance with <br />the City Council Meeting Rules so as not to continue to interrupt, delay or obstruct the <br />City Council's ability to transact its business.
