Following <br />Motion <br />X <br />discussion, the City Council continued Case P06-1494 to 3 p.m. on <br />Second <br />X <br />July 10, 2007. <br />All Ayes <br />TAX-EXEMPT FINANCING - CALIFORNIA BAPTIST UNIVERSITY - <br />8432 MAGNOLIA- RESOLUTIONS <br />Hearing was called on the request by California Baptist University (CBU) and <br />Lancer Educational Housing, LLC (Lancer) to approve tax-exempt financing <br />from the California Statewide Communities Development Authority (CSCDA) <br />Motion <br />X <br />for new facilities and the refinancing of current debt obligations. The public hearing was officially closed. <br />All Ayes <br />Following discussion, the City Council adopted resolutions (1) approving the <br />issuance of not -to -exceed $105,000,000 of tax-exempt debt by the CSCDA <br />for the financing of new facilities and refinancing of current debt obligations of <br />CBU; (2) approving the issuance of not -to -exceed $35,000,000 of tax-exempt <br />debt by the CSCDA for the financing of new facilities and refinancing of <br />current debt obligations of Lancer; whereupon, the titles having been read <br />and further reading waived, Resolution No. 21413 of the City Council of <br />Riverside, California, Approving the Issuance of California Statewide <br />Communities Development Authority Revenue Bonds (California Baptist <br />University) for the Purposes of Financing and/or Refinancing the Costs of <br />Acquisition, Construction, Improvement, Renovation, Remodeling, Furnishing <br />and Equipping of Certain Educational Facilities and Certain Other Matters <br />Relating Thereto; and Resolution No. 21414 of the City Council of Riverside, <br />California, Approving the Issuance of California Statewide Communities <br />Development Authority Revenue Bonds (Lancer Educational Housing Project) <br />for the Purposes of Financing and/or Refinancing the Costs of Acquisition, <br />92-455 <br />
