DA- 1-845 1 2 5 6 ? 8 9 10 11 12 13 ~5 ~6 ~8 ~9 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 CITY ATTORNEY RIVERSIDE CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 5795 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, C~LIFORNIA, APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR CANYON SPRINGS. The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, does ordain as follows: Section 1: The City Council hereby finds that the First Amendment to the Development Agreement for Canyon Springs, which is referred to herein as the Amendment, (a) is consistent with the objectives, policies, general land uses and programs specified in the General Plan and the applicable specific plan; (b) will not be detrimental to the health, safety and general welfare of persons residing in the immediate area nor be detrimental or injurious to property or persons in the general neighborhood or to the general welfare of the residents of the City as a whole; (c) will not adversely affect the orderly development of property or the preservation of property values; (d) will facilitate the implementation of the applicable specific plan; and (e) is consistent with the provisions of Government Code Sections 65864 through 65869.5. Section 2: The City Council hereby approves the Amendment and designates the Mayor of the City of Riverside to execute the Amendment on behalf of the City of Riverside.
