1 2 6 7 8 9 lO ll 12 13 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 2~ 25 26 27 ORDINANCE NO. 5794 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10 OF THE RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 10.76.010 TO ESTABLISH A 40 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT ON A PORTION OF PALM AVENUE, AND TO DELETE THE 35 MILE PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT ON REDWOOD DRIVE FROM DEXTER DRIVE SOUTH TO SEVENTH STREET; AND BY AMENDING THAT PORTION OF SECTION 10.76,030 RELATING TO VICTORIA AVENUE AS A THROUGH STREET TO ADD HARRISON STREET AND TYLER STREET AS EXCEPTIONS THERETO TO PROVIDE FOR MULTI-WAY STOP CONTROLS AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF SAID STREETS WITH VICTORIA AVENUE. fOllOws: The City Council of the City of Riverside does ordain as Section 1: Section 10.76,010 of the Riverside Municipal Code is amended by establishing a 40 miles per hour speed limit on a portion of Palm Avenue between Beechwood Place and Rubidoux Avenue, and to delete the 35 mile per hour speed limit on Redwood Drive between Dexter Drive south and Seventh Street; those portions of said section relating to Palm Avenue and Redwood Drive are hereby amended to read as follows: Portion of Street Affected Name of Street (limits thereof) Palm Avenue Fourteenth Street and Tequesquite Avenue 25 Palm Avenue Tequesquite Avenue and Beechwood Place 45 Palm Avenue Beechwood Place and Rubidoux Avenue 40 Palm Avenue Rubidoux Avenue and Magnolia Avenue 35 Redwood Drive Seventh Street and Fourteenth Street 25 Section 2: That portion of Section 10.76,030 of the Riverside Municipal Code relating to Victoria Avenue as a through street is hereby amended by adding Harrison Street and Tyler Street as exceptions thereto to provide for multi-way stop controls at their intersections with Victoria Avenue; said Prima Facie Speed Limit (mph) CITY ATTORNEY RIVERSIDE CALIFORNIA
