One resident spoke regarding the <br />Mayor's and City Manager's vision. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS/PLANNING REFERRALS AND APPEALS <br />CASE P06-1141 - APPEAL - MINOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - <br />WIRELESS COMMUNICA TIONS FACILITY - 10410 ARLINGTON - <br />CONTINUED <br />Further discussion was held relative to the appeal by Omnipoint <br />Communications of the Zoning Administrator's decision to approve a minor <br />conditional use permit to construct a wireless communications facility <br />disguised as a 45-foot-high fan palm subject to revised conditions requiring <br />additional on-site improvements within the approximately .8-acre commercial <br />property located on the southwest corner of Arlington and Jones Avenues in Motion X <br />Zone C-2. Following discussion, the City Council continued the matter to Second X <br />3 p.m. on April 10, 2007. All Ayes <br />CASE P06-1423 - APPEAL - ADMINISTRA TIVE VARIANCE - <br />5757 MITCHELL - APPEAL WITHDRAWN <br />Further discussion was held relative to the appeal of Amilcar Sanchez of the <br />Zoning Administrator's denial of an administrative variance to legalize an <br />existing approximately 461-square-foot detached storage structure on <br />approximately .54 acre developed with a single-family residence at <br />5757 Mitchell Avenue, situated on the easterly side of Mitchell Avenue, <br />southerly of Cypress Avenue, northerly of Campbell Avenue, in the <br />RR - Rural Residential Zone. Administrative variances requested: to allow <br />a detached storage structure to encroach 2.5 feet into the required 5-foot side <br />and rear yard setback. Following further discussion, the City Council Motion X <br />accepted the applicant's withdrawal of the appeal and concurred with the Second X <br />Zoning Administrator's denial of Case P06-1423. All Ayes <br />CLOSED SESSIONS <br />The Mayor and City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for <br />closed sessions pursuant to Government Code (1) S54956.9(c) to confer with <br />and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning one case of anticipated <br /> 92-361 <br />
