The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, does ordain as follows: Section 1: Title 2 of the Riverside Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding thereto a new Chapter 2.75 to create a Visitors and Convention Board and to establish the powers and duties thereof, which new Chapter 2.75 shall read as follows: Sections: 2.75,010 2.75.020 2.75.030 2.75,040 "CHAPTER 2.75 VISITORS AND CONVENTION BOARD Created Powers and Duties Membership Organization 2.75.010 CREATED. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 700 of the City Charter, there is hereby created a Visitors and Convention Board of the City of Riverside. 2.75.020 POWERS AND DUTIES. The Visitors and Convention Board shall have the power and duty to act in an advisory capacity to the City Council in all matters pertaining to the administration, operation, development, improvement, maintenance and marketing of Ben H. Lewis Hall and Raincross Square. 2.75.030 MEMBERSHIP. The Visitors and Convention Board shall consist of nine members appointed in the manner and for the terms provided in Section 702 of the City Charter. CITY ATTORNEY RIVERSIDE CALl FORNIA
