<br />10 <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />13 <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br />20 <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br />24 <br /> <br />25 <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br />RIVERSIDE <br />CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 5901 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, <br />AMENDING SECTION 14.16.030 OF THE RIVERSIDE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE TO PROVIDE THAT THE FEE FOR <br />THE PERMIT WHICH IS REQUIRED FOR THE DISPOSAL <br />AT THE RIVERSIDE WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OF <br />SEWAGE PUMPED OR CLEANED FROM ANY SEPTIC TANK, <br />CESSPOOL, HOLDING TANK OR SEWAGE SEEPAGE PIT MAY <br />BE SET BY RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL. <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />5 <br />6 <br /> <br />7 <br />8 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, <br /> <br />does ordain as follows: <br /> <br />9 <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 14.16.030 of the Riverside Municipal <br /> <br />Code is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows: <br /> <br />"14.16.030 FEE FOR PERMIT. Every person, firm, <br />partnership or corporation applying for a permit to <br />discharge at the Riverside Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />any cleanings, wastes, waters or sewage pumped or <br />cleaned from any septic tank, cesspool, holding tank or <br />sewage seepage pit shall pay a fee therefor as set by <br />resolution of the City Council. The City Council may <br />from time to time, in its discretion, revise such fee. <br />In setting such fee the City Council may take into <br />consideration whether each load of waste originated from <br />within or outside of the boundaries of the operational <br />area or the outer permimeter boundaries of the City of <br />Riverside, the Jurupa Community Services District, the <br />Rubidoux Community Services District, or the Edgemont <br />Community Services District or their successors." <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption <br /> <br />of this ordinance and cause publication once in a newspaper of <br /> <br />general circulation in accordance with Section 414 of the <br /> <br />Charter of the City of Riverside.
