ORDINANCE NO. 5890 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING TITLE 10 OF THE RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING SECTION 10.76,010 TO ESTABLISH A 35 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT ON AN ADDITIONAL PORTION OF COOK AVENUE AND A 40 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT ON A PORTION OF HARRISON STREET. The City Council of the City of Riverside does ordain as follows: Section 1: Section 10.76,010 of the Riverside Municipal Code is amended by establishing a 35 miles per hour speed limit 10 on an additional portion of Cook Avenue and a 40 miles per hour 11 speed limit on a portion of Harrison Street; those portions of 12 said section relating to Cook Avenue and Harrison Street are ~3 14 ~5 16 ~8 hereby amended to read as follows: Name of Street Cook Avenue Harrison Street Harrison Street Harrison Street Harrison Street Portion of Street Affected (limits thereof) Bolton Avenue and Jones Avenue Dufferin Avenue and Victoria Avenue Victoria Avenue and Indiana Avenue Diana Avenue and Magnolia Avenue Magnolia Avenue and California Avenue Prima Facie Speed Limit (mph) 35 40 35 30 35 19 Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause publication once in a newspaper of 21 general circulation in accordance with Section 414 of the 22 Charter of the City of Riverside.
