Jn~ORNIA, OBJECTING TO THE PUBLIC SALE OF CERTAIN <br /> TAX-DEFAULTED PROPERTY LOCATED W1THIN THE C1TY OF RIVERSIDE <br /> OFFERING TO PURCHASE SAID PROPERTY AND FINDING THAT SAID <br /> PROPERTY WILL BE USED FOR A PUBLIC PURPOSE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Revenue and Tax Code Division 1, Part 6 (Section 3351, et. seq.) authorized the <br />Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside (the "Agency") to purchase property that has been tax- <br />defaulted for five years or more; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Riverside County Treasurer-Tax Collector has determined that Assessor Parcels <br />Nos. 211-202-007, 234-091-003, 211-202-006, and 219-250-004 real property located in the City of <br />Riverside, County of Riverside, California ("acquisition parcels"). The Acquisition Parcels are more <br />particularly described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference (the <br />"Property"), has been tax-defaulted for more than five years and, therefore, may be acquired by the <br />Agency; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Riverside County Treasurer-Tax Collector has determined the purchase price <br />for the Acquisition Parcels to be the following: <br /> <br /> APN Purchase Price <br />211-202-007 $3,998.38 <br /> <br />234-091-003 $1,337.26 <br />211-202-006 $2,939.48 <br />219-250-004 $2,294.87 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Riverside County Treasurer-Tax Collector has indicated that it will enter into <br />an Agreement of Sale for the Property if the Agency adopts a resolution objecting to the public sale of <br />Property; offering to pumhase the Property; stating the public purpose for which the Property will be <br />used and acknowledging that the Agency will pay for ail costs pertaining to publication and lot book <br />reports; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Agency desires to adopt such resolution and purchase the Acquisition Parcels. <br /> <br /> <br />
