<br /> The minutes of the meeting of Cctober 14, 1952, were read ~d approved subject to cor-
<br />rection of that para,apb concerning the adoption 'and effect of Resolution No. 5461~ and the minutes
<br />of the meeting of October 17, 1952, were read and approved.

<br /> Upon motion of Councilr~'~ Hair, seconded by CoerciOn Crouch, and duly carried, IT WAS
<br />ORD~D that, ~n consideration of tho reco~ondation of the General Co~aittee of the Co~cil, the
<br />Superintendent of Streets be, and he ia hereby authorized to employ a Sub-Forermn, Junior, on Step
<br />No. 3, of Schedule No. 21, effective October l, 19~2.

<br />WAS ORD~A~ that, in consideration of the report of the Streets Co~Jttee of the Council~ the request
<br />of the Pipeline Const~ct!on Company, Inc., by Charles M. tleers: for the installation of paving on
<br />~.e.t~!n streets in the vlc~nity of Hears Subdivision No 6 be acceoted ~nsofar as it affects the
<br />re~adtng and repavlng of Central Avenue between the easterly corner of the ~eers Subdivision and
<br />Hillside Avenue, and that with the cua'bing and paving of the easterly 18 feet of Hillside Avenue, 1320
<br />feet~ more or less, northerly of Central Avenue, by the Hears Associates, the City of Riverside will
<br />pave the westerly side of Hillside Avenue northerly from Central Avenue for the s~e distance, and
<br />that the balance of the request pertaining to Phoenix Avenue and Hillside Avenue extended northerly
<br />to Mountain View Avenue be referred to the Streets Co~mlttee of the Council and the City Engineer for
<br />
<br />further study.
