SIDE OF <br />FUTURE EXTENSION OF LOOKOUT TERRACE NELY. OF ARLINGTON <br />Hearing was called on the appeal of Howard Wu, Advance Development, <br />LLC, on behalf of Sierra Company of the Planning Commission's denial of <br />Tract Map 32540 to subdivide approximately 24.17 vacant acres into eight <br />single-family residential lots in Zones RC and R-1-80. No one was present <br />wishing to speak on the matter. One letter was presented. Following <br />discussion, the public hearing was officially closed. The City Council <br />(1) approved Case P05-0335 as revised by the applicant and subject to the <br />conditions attached to the staff report; (2) adopted the staff report and <br />environmental assessment as findings; (3) determined that the proposed <br />project will not have a significant effect on the environment based upon the <br />findings and mitigation measures set forth in the case record and adopted a <br />Mitigated Negative Declaration; and (4) found that the proposed project could <br />have the potential for adverse effects on wildlife resources and the applicant <br />Motion <br />X <br />is responsible for payment of Fish and Game fees at the time the Notice of <br />Second <br />X <br />Determination is filed with the County. <br />All Ayes <br />CASE P05-0399 - APPEAL - REZONING - NLY. CORNER OF MARKET <br />AND RIVERA - CONTINUED <br />Hearing was called on the appeal by Kassab Ama of the Planning <br />Commission's approval of the City's request to remove the one -acre site <br />located at the northerly corner of Market and Rivera Streets from Zone C-2 <br />Motion <br />X <br />and place the same in Zone R-0. Following discussion, the City Council <br />Second <br />X <br />continued the matter to 3 p.m. on December 6, 2005. <br />All Ayes <br />CASE P05-0870 - SPECIFIC PLAN AMENDMENT - 7260 SYCAMORE <br />CANYON <br />Hearing was called on the proposal of Vicente Mai to amend the text of the <br />Sycamore Canyon Business Park Specific Plan to permit showrooms, in <br />conjunction with an industrial use, and ancillary retail sales on-site activities in <br />association with a primary industrial operation on property in Zones MP -SP <br />and C -2 -S -2 -SP. No one was present wishing to speak on the matter. No <br />written protests were presented. Following discussion, the public hearing <br />was officially closed. The City Council (1) approved Case P05-0870 subject <br />to the Planning Commission's recommended conditions; (2) adopted the staff <br />91-157 <br />
