RESOLUTION NO. 778 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE APPROVING AND TRANSMITTING THE REPORT TO CITY COUNCIL FOR THE PROPOSED LA SIERRA/ARLANZA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA, AMENDMENT NO. 1, TO THE RIVERSIDE CITY COUNCIL WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Plan (the "Plan") for the La Sierra/Arlanza Redevelopment Project (the "Project") was adopted on July ! 3, 2004, pursuant to Ordinance No. 6730 of the City Council of the City of Riverside (the "City Council"); and WHEREAS, Section 33450 of the Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code § 33000 et seq.; the "CRL") authorizes amendments to a redevelopment plan; and WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside (the "Agency") desires to consider an amendment to the Plan for the Project (the "Amendment"); and WHEREAS, the Agency has prepared Amendment No. 1 to the Plan (the "Amended Plan") for the proposed Amendment in accordance with the various provisions of the CRL related thereto; and WHEREAS, the Agency has prepared a Report to City Council on the Amended Plan in compliance with CRL Section 33452, as modified by CRL Section 33457.!; and WHEREAS, the Agency is required to submit the Amended Plan, as well as other pertinent information, to the City Council for its consideration; and WHEREAS, on September 22, 2005, the Riverside Planning Commission (the "Planning Commission") found the Amended Plan to be in conformance with the Riverside General Plan and recommended to the City Council that the Amended Plan be approved; and WHEREAS, on August 25, 2005, the La Sierra/Arlanza Project Area Committee recommended that the proposed Amendment be approved and adopted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside, California, as follows: Section 1: The Agency hereby approves the Report to City Council, which includes the Amended Plan and Addendum to the Final Environmental Impact Report.
