1 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />ll <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 777 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE, CALII~ORNIA, (1) ADOPTING RULES AND REGULATIONS <br /> OF CITY OF RIVERSIDE CITY COUNCIL PURCHASING RESOLUTION <br /> FOR PROCUREMENT OF GOODS, SERVICES AND CONSTRUCTION, <br /> (2) ADOPTING CITY OF RIVERSIDE ADMINISTRATIVE MANUAL <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANT SERVICES SELECTION PROCEDURES; <br /> (3) SETTING MONETARY LIMITS OF AGENCY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR <br /> AUTHORITY OF $50,000 FOR GOODS, SERVICES, CONSTRUCTION, <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AND NEGOTIATED CONTRACTS AND <br /> PROCUREMENTS; (4) AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OR <br /> HIS/HER DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS AND PURCHASE <br /> ORDERS AUTHORIZED BY THIS RESOLUTION AND SUCH OTHER <br /> CONTRACTS EXPRESSLY APPROVED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT <br /> AGENCY; AND (5) REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 669. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 1, 2000, the Redevelopment Agency adopted Resolution No. 669 <br />establishing the procedures and monetary limits of Agency Executive Director authority of $25,000 for <br />obtaining professional services for the Agency pursuant to Administrative Manual Sections II-4 and II- <br />5; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 17, 2005, the City Council of the City of Riverside increased the limits <br />of City Manager authority from $25,000 to $50,000 for goods, services, construction, professional <br />services and negotiated contracts and procurements, and clarified rules and regulations for such <br />contracts and procurements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is desirable to adopt a resolution establishing rules and regulations for the <br />Redevelopment Agency to follow for goods, services, construction, professional services and negotiated <br />contracts and procurements, for establishing monetary limits of Agency Executive Director authority <br />similar to the City of Riverside's $50,000 limits for such contracts, and to authorize the Executive <br />Director or his designee to execute all contracts awarded or authorized in accordance with this <br />resolution. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br />Riverside, California: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That the rules and regulations and monetary limits of authority for goods, services, <br />and construction, set forth in the City of Riverside Purchasing Resolution No. 20942, as amended or <br /> <br /> <br />
