Minutes of Date of Meeting: Place of Meeting: Co~uacil Chamber, City Hall The Lord's Prayer was recited in unison by the assembly~ The Pledge of Allegiance was given to the Flag~ The Minutes of the Meeting of June ]~0, 1964, were approved Motion as submitted~ Second All Ayes Mrs= Amos H~ Pirot appeared before the City Comucil on be- half of the request of Amos H. and Beatrice D~ Pirot for waiver of the 30-day waiting period~ to allow the issuance of a Building Permit for property located at 4115 Columbia , Avenue, resorted by Ordinance Nco 3200~ adopted June 23~ 1964 under Zoning Case R-65-634; whereupon~ the request for waiver of the 30-day waiting period was granted~ and permis-; sion was given for the issuance of a Building Permit~ with ~ the understanding that it be placed on the face of the ~ Motion Permit that this is at the owner's own risk ontil the effec-I Second tire dmte of the 0rdinance~ All Ayes Council~mn Sotelo entered at this time~ Y~e City Co~uucil entered inno discussion with the Board of P~lic Utilities and a representative from the Southern California Edison Compan~ on a Resolution proposed by the Board of Public Utilities calling upon the Federal Power Commission to consider a reduction in ~holesale electrical Utilities spoke on proposed changes in the Resolution~ Mr. T. M~ McDaniel~ Jrt, representative from SO~ California Edison Company~ spoke in opposition to the Resolution~ ~tating the Company's willingness to reexamine their posi- tion, to resolve iifferences and also presented three specific changes to be made in the Resolution~ should it be adopted~ Follo-~ing discussion with Members of the Board of Public Utilities and the Staff~ the City Manager suggested that the matter be deferred until later in the meeting~ to afford the individual Board Me~bers time for informal con- sideration and discussion. Approval was given without The Investigation Report of the City Engineer~ covering the proposed construction of sanitary sewer~ and appurtenances~ ~ in portions ~f Alta Mesa Drive~ Wendell Way and Planders Road~ in the Alta Mesa-Wendell Sanitary Sewer District~ under the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911, was Motion approved; and the City Clerk was authorized to endorse such Second approval on said report and accompanying plat~ All Ayes Resolution No~ lOO14 of the City Council of the City of Riverside~ California~ Adopted Pursuant to the Special Assessment Investigation~ Limitation and Majority Protesti Act of 1931~ in the Alta Mesa-Wendell Sanitary Sewer Dis-~ trier Proceeding~ Determining the General Nature~ Loca- tion and Extent of the Public Improvement Proposed to be Made Pursuant to the Improvement Act of igll; Dete~n- ing the Boundaries of the Alta Mesa-Wendell Sanitary Sewer District Proposed to be Specially Assessed to Pay the Costs and Expenses Thereof; and Fixing the Time and Place of Bearing the Approved Report of the Engineer Thereon~ was presented~ said hearing being fixed for CITY OF RIVE.RSIDE W~a~ Xl~B'~'4~5~6 7 \ Present ~X~AiXiXiX~X~X
