RESOLUTION NO. 771 RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE SETTING THE DATE, TIME, AND LOCATION FOR THE JOINT PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER ADOPTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN AMENDMENT AND ADDENDUM TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THE LA SIERRA/ARLANZA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT. WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Plan (the "Plan") for the La Sierra/Arlanza Redevelopment Project (the "Project") was adopted on July 13, 2004, pursuant to Ordinance No. 6730 of the City Council of the City of Riverside (the "City Council"); and WHEREAS, Section 33450 of the Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code § 33000 et seq.; the "CRL") authorizes amendments to a redevelopment plan; and WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside (the "Agency") desires to amend the Plan for the Project; and WHEREAS, on June 28, 2005, the Agency adopted Resolution No. 766 to initiate the adoption of Amendment No. 1 to the Plan for the Project (the "Amendment"); and WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 33458 of the CRL, the Agency and City Council are required to hold a joint public hearing on the proposed Amendment; and WHEREAS, Section 33452 of the CRL requires that a notice of said joint public heating be published in a newspaper of general circulation and be mailed to each property owner, resident, business, and affected taxing agency; and WHEREAS, the Agency and City desire to consider approval of an Addendum to the Environmental Impact Report for the La Sierra/Arlanza Redevelopment Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside, California, as follows: SECTION 1: The Redevelopment Agency hereby consents to a joint public hearing with the City Council on the proposed Amendment to the Redevelopment Plan and
