1 <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> 3 <br /> <br /> 4 <br /> <br /> 5 <br /> <br /> 6 <br /> <br /> 7 <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />12 <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />14 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />16 <br /> <br />17 <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 768 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br />CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING CERTAIN <br />FINDINGS REGARDING THE CONSTRUCTION AND <br />INSTALLATION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, WHICH ARE OF <br />BENEFIT TO THE MERGED HUNTER PARKfNORTHSIDE <br />REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside ("Agency") desires and <br />intends to construct and install public infrastructure improvements consisting of storm drain <br />improvements, street widening, curb, gutter and sidewalk construction and relocation of utility <br />poles in the Merged Hunter Park/Northside Redevelopment Project (the "Project Area"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the lack of infrastructure improvements along Marlborough Avenue in the <br />Project Area creates a blighting influence at the City's gateway to the Hunter Business Park and <br />serves as a deterrent to the physical and economic health of the area by deterring the establishment <br />of new businesses in the Project Area, thereby constituting blight; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Marlborough Avenue Infrastructure Improvements will enhance the <br />appearance of the Hunter Business Park and combine with other infrastructure improvements by the <br />City in the Project Area to create an improved street area, which will improve the visual appearance <br />of the Hunter Business Park, thereby benefitting the Project Area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Marlborough Avenue Infrastructure Improvements are anticipated to <br />enhance and promote the revitalization of the area in and around Hunter Business Park along <br />Marlborough Avenue in the Project Area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Health and Safety Code Section 33445 provides that the Agency may, with the <br />consent of the legislative body, pay all or part of the value of the land for, and the cost of the <br />installation and construction of, any building, facility, structm'e, or other improvements that is <br />publicly owned either within or without the Project Area. <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of <br />Riverside hereby: <br /> <br /> <br />
