1 RESOLUTION NO. 17924 <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENT TO <br /> 3 ADOPT A RESOLUTION OF NECESSITY RELATING TO THE <br /> ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF <br /> 4 RIVERSIDE OR INTERESTS THEREIN BY EMINENT DOMAIiN <br /> NECESSARY FOR THE WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF <br /> 5 JURUPA AVENUE FROM DEERFIELD ROAD TO PALM <br /> AVENUE; FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ON <br /> 6 THE RESOLUTION; AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO <br /> GIVE NOTICE OF THIS INTENDED ACQUISITION AND OF <br /> ? THE HEARING AS REQUIRED BY LAW. <br /> 8 IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> <br /> 9 Riverside, California, pursuant to the Eminent Domain Law of the <br /> 10 State of California, being Title 7 of Part 3 of the Co~e of <br /> 11 Civil Procedure (commencing with Section 1230.010), and pursuant <br /> 12 to the Charter of the City of Riverside, as follows: <br /> 13 Section 1: It is the intention of the City Council of <br /> 14 the City of Riverside to acquire by eminent domain the fee <br /> 15 simple and lesser interests in certain real property within the <br /> 16 City of Riverside, California, necessary for the widening and <br /> 17 improvement of Jurupa Avenue from Deerfield Road to Palm Avenue. <br /> 18 Section 2: The properties or lesser interests therein <br /> 19 proposed to be acquired by eminent domain are located within the <br /> 20 City of Riverside, County of Riverside, State of California, and <br /> 21 are described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated <br /> 22 herein by this reference. <br /> 23 Section 3: In accordance with the requirements of <br /> 24 Section 1245.235(a) of the Code of Civil Procedure, the time and <br /> 25 place at which the City Council shall conduct its hearing to <br /> 26 allow each person whose property is to be acquired by e!minent <br /> 27 domain a reasonable opportunity to appear and be heard is hereby <br /> <br />ATTORNEY <br />RIVERSIDE <br />FORNIA <br /> <br /> <br />
