NOTICE OF HEARING ON RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO <br />ESTABLISH PROPOSED COMMUNITY FACILITIES <br />DISTRICT NO. 2004-1 (GALLERIA AT TYLER) OF THE CITY <br />OF RIVERSIDE <br /> <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on December 21, 2004 the City Council of the City of <br />Riverside adopted Resolution No. 20843, the resolution of intention with respect to the formation <br />of proposed Community Facilities District No. 2004-1 (Galleria at Tyler) of the City of <br />Riverside, County of Riverside, State of California, and that a public hearing on said resolution <br />of intention and with respect to the formation of said community facilities district will be held at <br />3:00 p.m. on January 25, 2005, in the City Council Chambers .at the City Hall, 3900 Main Street, <br />Riverside, California. <br /> <br />Resolution No. 20843 provides in summary as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The name proposed for the community facilities district is "Community Facilities <br />District No. 2004-1 (Galleria at Tyler) of the City of Riverside, County of Riverside, State of <br />California." <br /> <br /> 2. The boundaries of the territory proposed for inclusion in the proposed community <br />facilities district are shown on the map entitled, "Boundaries of Community Facilities District <br />No. 2004-1 (Galleria at Tyler) of the City of Riverside, County of Riverside, State of California," <br />which is on file with the City Clerk. <br /> <br /> 3. The types of public facilities to be provided for and financed by the proposed <br />community facilities district (the "Facilities") are as follows: <br /> <br /> The proposed community facilities district shall provide and finance the costs of <br />(i) parking deck additions to create 645 new automobile parking spaces; (ii) escalators and <br />elevators associated with parking deck additions; (iii) hardscape, including, without limitation, <br />curb, gutter, sidewalks, driveways and fountains; (iv) landscape; (v) landscape irrigation <br />systems; (vi) exterior lighting; (vii) exterior lighting related electrical systems; (viii) directional <br />and other signage related to public parking; (ix) public storm drain system; (x) demolition of <br />public and private facilities necessary to construct the Public Improvements, including the <br />Parking Facility within the proposed community facilities district, and shall also finance costs <br />associated with (a) planning and designing the Facilities; (b) execution and delivery of the COPs <br />(as defined in Section 4); and (c) the determination of the amount of and the levy and collection <br />of special taxes which are levied to provide such Facilities and costs otherwise incurred in order <br />to carry out the authorized purposes of the community facilities district. <br /> <br /> 4. Except where funds are otherwise available, special taxes shall be annually levied <br />within the proposed community facilities district sufficient to pay for the following: <br /> <br /> (i) the Facilities including, pursuant to Government Code Section 53313.5(g), <br />reimbursing the City for payment from the City's General Fund of the principal of and interest <br />with respect to the certificates of participation sold and to represent undivided interests in the <br /> <br />RVPUB\BJS\686101.1 <br /> <br /> <br />
