CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br />CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br />Minutes of: <br />Time of Meeting: <br />Place of Meeting: <br />Date of Meeting: <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />1 p.m. <br />Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall <br />September 28, 2004 <br /> <br />WARDS <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />In the absence of Mayor Loveridge, Mayor Pro Tempore Gage called the <br />meeting to order at 1 p.m. <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There were no comments presented at this time. <br /> <br />Councilmember Moore arrived at this time. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSIONS - CONTINUED IN PART <br />The City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for closed <br />sessions pursuant to Government Code (1) §54956.9 to confer with and/or <br />receive advice from legal counsel concerning John Lonberg v. City of <br />Riverside - USDC Case No. EDCV97-0237; (2) §54957 for evaluation of the <br />~erformance, employment, appointment, discipline, dismissal, and release of <br />the City Clerk; (3) §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal <br />counsel concerning Mark Ogawa v. City of Riverside - WCAB Nos. 030019 <br />and 030272; (4) §54957.6 to review the City Council's position and instruct <br />designated representatives regarding salaries, salary schedules, or <br />compensation paid in the form of fringe benefits for Fire Management Unit, <br />Riverside City Firefighter's Association, Riverside Police Officers Association <br />(Police and Police Supervisory Units), Service Employees International <br />Union, Service Employees International Union-Refuse, and International <br />Brotherhood of Electrical Workers; and (5)§54957.6 to review the City <br />Council's position and instruct designated representatives regarding salaries, <br />salary schedules, or compensation paid in the form of fringe benefits for all <br />Executive Management, Management, and Confidential employees, as <br />defined by PERS. The closed session pursuant to Government Code <br />§54957.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning <br />one case of anticipated litigation was continued off calendar. <br /> <br />The City Council returned to the Art Pick Council Chamber with all members <br />)resent except Mayor Loveridge and Councilmember Hart. <br /> <br />WORKSHOP <br /> <br />COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN - RIVERSIDE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT - <br />CONTINUED OFF CALENDAR <br />Following discussion, the City Council, without formal motion, continued off <br />calendar the Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the Riverside Municipal <br />Airport. <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />90-133 <br /> <br /> <br />
