8 <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br /> 10 <br /> <br /> 11 <br /> <br /> 12 <br /> <br /> 13 <br /> <br /> 14 <br /> <br /> 15 <br /> <br /> 16 <br /> <br /> 17 <br /> <br /> 18 <br /> <br /> 19 <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br />21 <br /> <br />22 <br /> <br />23 <br /> <br />24 <br /> <br />25 <br /> <br />26 <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 746 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE <br />CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING RULES OF <br />PROCEDURE AND ORDER OF BUSINESS FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT <br />AGENCY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE AND RELATED FUNCTIONS <br />AND ACTIVITIES AND RESCINDING ALL PRIOR ACTIONS TAKEN <br />THERETO. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency last reviewed and approved its Rules of Procedure <br /> and Order of Business in 1986; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intent and desire of the Redevelopment Agency to conduct its business <br /> in an orderly and fair manner; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there are certain basic fights of due process and opportunity to address issues <br /> with equity, fairness, and equal protection of the law; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, certain parliamentary procedures have been found to be useful in order to <br /> assure that the communication and process of government are fair, reasonable, and just; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency has a duty to proceed with the business of <br />government in an efficient and orderly fashion; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency desires to update and establish uniform norms and <br />procedures in order to accomplish these goals. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside, California, as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> That the following shall be the Rules of Procedure and Order of Business of the <br />Redevelopment Agency, and shall govern all proceedings of the Redevelopment Agency therein <br />described, subject to the exceptions and deviations provided for in such rules. The presiding officer <br />o fthe Redevelopment Agency may reference and follow the Rules of Procedure and Order of Business <br />for the City Council for the City of Riverside as set forth in Resolution No. 20611 and as may be <br />amended by the City Council where not inconsistent with the Rules set forth herein. <br /> <br /> Violation of these rules shall not be construed as a penal offense, excepting that breach of the <br />>eace or willful failure to comply with the lawful orders o fthe Redevelopment Agency or its presiding <br /> <br />City A~orney'sOffice <br />3900Main Street <br />Riverside, CA 92522 <br />(951) 826-5567 <br /> <br /> <br />
