Priamos, Agency General Counsel <br /> <br />Closed Session - Existing Litigation [Government Code §54956.9] <br /> <br />Name of Case: Century Steel Holdings, /nc. vs. The Redevelopment <br /> Agency of the City of Riverside, et al. <br /> Riverside County Superior Court Case No. RIC 414611 <br /> <br />A closed session will be held on September 14, 2004, for the purpose of conferring with <br />and/or receiving advice from your legal counsel concerning litigation which has been <br />formally initiated to which the Redevelopment Agency is a party. [Government Code <br />§54956.9(a)] <br /> <br />The General Counsel will provide you with a status report on this particular case. <br /> <br />If the Agency authorizes the Agency General Counsel to defend, or seek or refrain from <br />seeking appellate review or relief, the parties and substance of the litigation shall be <br />disclosed immediately following this closed session. If the Agency authorizes initiation <br />or intervention, such authorization shall be disclosed immediately following this closed <br />session and the public advised that the action, defendants and other particulars may be <br />disclosed upon request after the action is formally commenced.
