CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br /> <br />DATE: 7-27-04 <br />ITEM NO.: 19 <br /> <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br /> <br />MEMBERS <br /> <br />Minutes of: <br />Time of Meeting: <br />Place of Meeting: <br />Date of Meeting: <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Redevelopment Agency <br />1 p.m. <br />Art Pick Council Chamber, City Hall <br />July 13, 2004 <br /> <br />WARDS <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />In the absence of Mayor Loveridge, Mayor Pro Tempore Gage called the <br />Redevelopment Agency meeting to order at 2:30 p.m. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSIONS <br />The Agency recessed to the Council Chamber Board Room for closed <br />sessions pursuant to Government Code (1) §54956.8 to instruct the Agency's <br />Negotiators George A. Caravalho and Michael J. Beck, regarding price and <br />terms of payment for the pumhase, sale, exchange, or lease of 3801 Mission <br />Inn Avenue by H. J. Zivnak (Historic Fox Theatre), Negotiator; and <br />(2) §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel <br />concerning one case of anticipated litigation. <br /> <br />The Agency Members returned to the Art Pick Council Chamber. <br /> <br />CLOSED SESSION ANNOUNCEMENT <br />Supervising Deputy City Attorney Eileen Teichert announced that in closed <br />session the Agency unanimously requested the Agency Counsel to file a <br />petition to obtain access to 3801 Mission Inn Avenue (Historic Fox Theatre). <br />There was no reportable action taken on the closed session regarding one <br />case of anticipated litigation. <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />Thomas Kinney spoke regarding housing listed in the Home Seller. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />The following items were approved by one motion affirming the actions <br />appropriate to each item. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />The Minutes of the Meetings of June 15 and 22, 2004, were approved as <br />presented. <br /> <br />HOUSING REHABILITATION LOANS AND GRANTS <br />The Agency (1) approved the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br />Housing Rehabilitation loans and grants in the Arlanza/La Sierra, Eastside, <br />Disability, and Citywide areas in the amounts identified in the written staff <br />report to be used for housing rehabilitation; and (2) authorized the Executive <br />Director or his designee with the direction of Agency Counsel to execute any <br />and all documents and agreements necessary to administer and implement <br /> <br />RA-517 <br /> <br />Present <br /> <br />Motion <br />Second <br />All Ayes <br /> <br /> <br />
