CLOSED SESSIONS The City Council recessed to the City Council Board Room for closed sessions pursuant to Government Code (1) §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning Samuel Salinas v. City of Riverside - WCAB Nos. 030296 and 030092; (2) §54956.8 to instruct the City's Negotiators, George A. Caravalho and Bob Hall, regarding price and terms of payment for the purchase, sale, exchange, or lease of APN's 132- 100-001, 002, and 003, and 132-231-018 (commonly referred to as Frost Reservoir) by Alvord Unified School District; Paul Jessup, Negotiator; (3) §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning one case of anticipated litigation; (4) §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning John Sabatello v. City of Riverside - WCAB No. 040276; (5) §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning one case of anticipated litigation; (6) §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning Outdoor Media Group v. City of Riverside - USDC Case No. ED CV-00-469 RT (AJWx) - Court of Appeal Case No. E031014; (7) §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning Valley Outdoor, Inc., v. City of Riverside - USDC Case No. ED CV 00-370 DT (CWx); (8) §54956.9 to confer with and/or receive advice from legal counsel concerning City of Riverside v. Valley Outdoor, Inc. - SBCSC Case No. 115579; (9) §54957.6 to review the City Council's position and instruct designated representatives regarding salaries, salary schedules, or compensation paid in the form of fringe benefits for all Executive Management, Management, and Confidential employees, as defined by PERS; and (10) §54957.6 to review the City Council's position and instruct designated representatives regarding salaries, salary schedules, or compensation paid in the form of fringe benefits for Fire Management Unit, Riverside City Firefighters' Association, Riverside Police Officers Association (Police and Police Supervisory Units), Service Employees International Union, Service Employees International Union Refuse, and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
