Meier, Sgt. Loftus, Appellant Reatha A. Yrizarry <br /> <br />Chair Adams called the meeting to order at 12 p.m. <br /> <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There were no oral comments presented at this time. <br /> <br />MASSAGE PERMIT DENIAL - APPEAL - REATHA A. YRIZARRY <br />Following discussion, a report from Sgt. Loftus, and comments from Appellant <br />Reatha A. Yrizarry, the appeal hearing was closed. Following further discussion, <br />and without formal motion, the Committee unanimously (1) upheld the decision of <br />the Chief of Police in denying the application of Reatha A. Yrizarry for a Massage <br />Permit; (2) requested the City Attorney to review the Code for possible <br />amendments to Riverside Municipal Code (RMC) Section 5.52.060 regarding <br />health certificates to allow for case-by-case discretion; and (3) if the Code is <br />amended as such, the applicant may resubmit an application for permit without <br />any further application fees. <br /> <br />The Massage Appeal Committee adjourned at 12:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> OL <br />City CleYk_.~' <br /> <br />mac.061404 <br /> <br /> <br />
