Pursuant to
State Health and Safety Code Section 2041, Northwest Mosquito and Vector
Control District has adopted Resolution No. 396, authorizing review of new
development plans within its jurisdiction. A copy of this resolution is attached
herewith. This proactive approach ensures that the District's comments and
recommendations are incorporated in the early stages of such developments. This
will not only save resources, but will also allow the District to protect public
health through effective vector control. The District will be commenting
primarily regarding potential ponding or impounding of water, choice of
vegetation and the overall management of both water and vegetation.

The District will review all plans at no cost to the submitting party. Effective
immediately, it is requested that all plans for new developments and/or
installation of wetlands be submitted to the District for review. The District
serves the cities of Corona, Norco and Lake Elsinore, portions of the City of
Riverside and the northwest portion of Riverside County.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. We appreciate your
cooperation in this matter.

Sincerely,

Major S.
