I RESOLUTION NO 742 A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE APPROVING AND TRANSMITTING THE REPORT TO CITY COUNCIL FOR THE PROPOSED LA SIERRA! ARLANZA REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TO THE RIVERSIDE CITY COUNCIL WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside (the "Agency") has prepared a Report to City Council on the Redevelopment Plan for the proposed La SierraJArlanza Redevelopment Project (the "Redevelopment Plan") in compliance with Section 33352 of the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health and Safety Code, Sections 33000, et seq,) (the "CRL'''); and WHEREAS, the Agency is required to submit the Redevelopment Plan, as well as other pertinent information, to the City Council for its consideration; and I WHEREAS, the Agency has prepared the proposed Redevelopment Plan for the proposed Project Area in accordance with the various provisions of the CRL related thereto; and WHEREAS, the Riverside Planning Commission (the "Planning Commission") on April 8, 2004, found the Redevelopment Plan to be in conformance with the Riverside General Plan and recommended to the City Council that the Redevelopment Plan be approved; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside, California, as follows: Section 1: The Agency hereby approves the Report to City Council, which includes the Redevelopment Plan, Environmental Impact Report, and the Relocation Method, Section 2: The Agency hereby finds that, based on evidence and analysis contained in the Report to City Council, significant blight exists in the Project Area, and that such blight cannot be eliminated without the use of redevelopment. I Section 3: The Executive Director of the Agency is hereby authorized and directed to transmit the Report to City Council to the Riverside City CounciL
