1 RESOLUTION NO. 18424 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 3 18193, AS AMENDED, BY AMENDING SECTION 12 THEREOF RELATING TO HEALTH INSURANCE TO INCREASE THE MAXIMUM 4 CITY CONTRIBUTION FOR HEALTH INSURANCE BY $20 PER MONTH EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 3, 1993, FOR THOSE 5 EMPLOYEES IN THE GENERAL UNIT, THOSE EMPLOYEES IN THE EXECUTIVE RANGES EXCLUDING THE CHIEF OF POLICE 6 AND THE FIRE CHIEF, THE MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES GROUP, AND THE CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES GROUP. 7 8 The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, 9 does resolve as follows: 10 Section 1: Section 12 of Resolution No. 18193, as 11 amended by Resolutions No. 18286 and 18407, is hereby amended 12 to increase the maximum City contribution for health insurance 13 by $20 per month for those employees in the General Unit, those 14 employees in the Executive Ranges excluding the Chief of Police 15 and Fire Chief, the Management Employees Group and the 16 Confidential Employees Group effective as of the first pay 17 period in December, 1993, which Section 12 shall read as 18 follows: 19 "Section 12: HEALTH INSURANCE 20 The City shall contribute the following maximum amounts per pay period, if needed, towards health 21 insurance premiums for the regular, full-time employees in the listed units/groups and their qualified 22 dependents, if any, except for those pay periods not subject to health insurance deductions; provided, 23 however, the health insurance benefit is extended to those regular part-time employees regularly assigned to 24 work between 30-39 hours per week at a rate equal to three-fourths of that received by regular, full-time 25 employees, and those regular part-time employees regularly assigned to work between 20-29 hours per week 26 at a rate equal to one-half the regular, full-time entitlement with their respective employee units: 27 Attorney's Office Street CA 92522 782-5567 F: IWPDATA/RES\94021601 .BP
