CITY OF RIVERSIDE <br />CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS <br />CITIZEN'S TASK FORCE <br />UNAPPRO VED MINUTES <br /> 7TM Floor Small Conference Room, City Hall <br /> May 13, 2004 <br /> 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: Richard Block, Richard Casfillo, David Chandler, David Moore, Miguel Morales, <br /> Kathleen Peach, Robert Slawsby <br /> <br />Absent: Lou Hurle, Ruby Tronch <br /> <br />Stuff: Troy Brown, Alysa Majer, Susan Wilson <br /> <br />Guests: George Jostlin-Charter Communications, Monte Wheeler-Charter Communications <br /> <br />II. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />IV* <br /> <br />Called to order at 5:35 p.m. by Mr. Troy Brown (acting Moderator until action to elect <br />a chair has been made). <br /> <br />Task Force Member Introductions <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />Task force minUtes for April 29, 2004 were motioned to approve with one <br />correction in Section IV; the word fallow was changed to follow. It was so moved <br />by Mr. David Moore and seconded by Mr. David Chandler to approve as <br />corrected. <br /> <br />New Business <br /> <br />a. Election of Chair and Vice Chair <br /> i. With a show of hands, Mr. Castillo became chair of the task force~ receiving <br /> 4 votes and Mr. Moore receiving 3 votes. At this time Mr. Brown <br /> relinquished conlxol to Chairman Castillo. <br /> ii. Chairman Castillo took nominations from the floor for a Vice Chair who <br /> would assume control of the meetings in the absence of the Chairman. <br /> 1. Mr. Morales nominated Mr. Slawsby. <br /> 2. Mr. Chandler nominated Mr. Moore. <br /> 3. With a show of hands, Mr. Moore became Vice Chair of the task <br /> force receiving 4 votes and Mr. Slawsby receiving 3 votes. <br /> <br /> <br />
