R ,C ,- 13647 ~emptPu~suqn~o WHEREAS by Grant Deed dated January 7 1965 an Gov~nmentCode ~03 , , 6 approximately 20 by 1~0 strip of property was dedicated to the 7 City of Riverside for the development of a portion of an alley 8 proposed to serve developing properties along Tyler Street; 9 WHEREAS this strip of property was acquired from that 10 property located at 5220 Tyler Street developed with a 25-unit 11 apartment building constructed prior to annexation of the area 12 to the City of Riverside; and 13 WHEREAS the City of Riverside no longer plans to develop 1~ an alley in this location; and 15 WHEREAS the subject strip of property remained unimproved 16 and is landlocked and isolated from an access to a public 17 street; and 18 WHEREAS the Public Works Department of the City of 19 Riverside in Vacation Case VC-012-923 seeks to vacate the 20 unneeded right-of-way and return the right-of-way to the parent 21 parcel; and 22 WHEREAS notices have been sent to all affected parties and 23 agencies and no negative responses have been received; and 24 WHEREAS Sections 8330 et seq. of the Streets and Highways 25 Code of the State of California provide for the summary 26 vacation of streets and public service easements under certain 27 conditions; and Attorney's Office Street CA 92522 782-5567 F: ~WPDATA~RES~94011301.
