VR-104-923 <br /> <br /> 1 RESOLUTION NO. 18410 <br /> <br /> 2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, RENDERING ITS DECISION <br /> 3 GRANTING A VARIANCE. <br /> 4 WHEREAS on August 16, 1993, the Board of <br /> <br /> 5 Administrative Appeals and Zoning Adjustment of the City of <br /> 6 Riverside denied the application of L. Tavaglione in Zoning <br /> 7 Case VR-104-923 for a variance to allow an approximately <br /> 8 128-square-foot, 40-foot high pole sign identifing two <br /> 9 tenants where other non-conforming freestanding signs already <br /> 10 exist located at 3399-3487 Arlington Avenue from the <br /> 11 requirements of Section 19.76.100 of the Riverside Municipal <br /> 12 Code which permits only on maximum 50-square-foot, 8-foot- <br /> 13 high monument sign; and <br /> 14 WHEREAS the action of the Board of Administrative <br /> 15 Appeals and Zoning Adjustment was to require the existing <br /> 16 128-square-foot, 40-foot high freestanding sign identifying <br /> 17 seven tenants to be removed and replaced with a maximum 50- <br /> 18 square-foot, 8-foot high monument sign identifying the name <br /> 19 of the center or one tenant; and <br /> 20 WHEREAS Joe Tavaglione of Tavaglione Construction and <br /> 21 Development Inc., appealed to the City Council from the <br /> 22 determination of the Board of Administrative Appeals and <br /> 23 Zoning Adjustment; and <br /> 24 WHEREAS on September 28, 1993, the City Council of <br /> 25 the City of Riverside opened its public hearing on the appeal <br /> 26 in this matter, which hearing was subsequently continued to <br /> 27 November 9, 1993, and January 11, 1994; and <br /> <br />Attorney's Office <br />Street <br />CA 92522 <br />782-5567 F: ~WPDATA~RES~94013501.
