rt% <br />CITY OF <br />RJVEIZSIDE <br />City ??'Arts &Innovation <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES <br />TUESDAY, APRIL 9, 2024, 1 P.M. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT IN PERSON/TELEPHONE <br />ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />3900 MAIN STREET <br />PRESENT: Mayor Lock Dawson and Councilmembers Edwards, Cervantes, Fierro, <br />Conder, Perry, and Hemenway and Councilwoman Plascencia <br />ABSENT: None <br />Mayor Lock Dawson called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Lock Dawson announced that Councilmember Conder was attending via <br />teleconference pursuant to Assembly Bill 2449 for just cause due to traveling on official <br />business. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />Jose Medina thanked outgoing City Councilmembers for their service. Margie Tad <br />Williams thanked outgoing City Councilmembers for their service and spoke regarding <br />the resolution for the United States Environmental Protection Agency grant (USEPA <br />benefitting the Casa Blanca Neighborhood. Errol Koschewitz spoke regarding the Oath <br />of Office. Paul Chavez spoke regarding the resolution for the United States Environmental <br />Protection Agency grant. Partick Maloney thanked outgoing City Councilmembers for <br />their service and congratulated Mayor Lock Dawson and Councilmember Hemenway. <br />Omar Cobian thanked outgoing City Councilmembers for their service and spoke <br />regarding tax fraud in the construction trade. Jason Hunter, Keith Nelson, and one caller <br />spoke regarding the City Manager and City Attorney employment agreements. Roy <br />Luckerd spoke regarding the City Manager and City Attorney employment agreements <br />and thanked outgoing City Councilmembers for their service. <br />MAYOR/COUNCILMEMBER COMMUNICATIONS <br />Councilmember Edwards reported on the Non -Profit Collaborative meeting at Hunt Park <br />and Arts Market at White Park. Councilmember Cervantes thanked Lincoln Park <br />Neighborhood groups and Park and Recreation Department for hosting the annual <br />Easter Egg hunt and reported on the Bordwell Park Advisory Board meeting, Riverside <br />Transgender Health and Wellness event, Riverside Latino Network Cesar Chavez <br />breakfast, University Neighborhood meeting, and public hearing regarding Riverside <br />Unified School District STEM Education project. Councilmember Conder reported on <br />Defense Communities 2024 National Summit, retirement event for Anne Mayer of <br />Riverside County Transportation Commission, Quick Quack Carwash grand opening, <br />farewell to Public Utilities General Manager Todd Corbin, Mission Grove Neighborhood <br />109-269 <br />
