W A T E R <br />I 'ER ERG.Y I LIFE <br />PURIWig <br />1 C UTILITIES <br />RIVERSIDE PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />Board Memorandum <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />GENERAL MANAGER'S REPORT <br />DATE: NOVEMBER 13, 2023 <br />SUBJECT: WA -12 AGRICULTURAL SERVICE WATER RATE REPORT — SEPTEMBER 30, <br />2023 <br />The City Council adopted the WA -12 Agricultural Service water rate schedule (WA -12) on October <br />15, 2019, with an effective date of January 1, 2020, and an annual program allocation of $684,000 <br />which continues unchanged in the 5 -year water rate plan adopted and effective October 1, 2023. <br />As of September 30, 2023, the WA -12 water rate schedule includes 236 customers. An estimated <br />$359,975 of the annual program allocation of $684,000 has been allocated. <br />As of January 1, 2023, the agricultural water allocation was updated using the rolling 15 -year <br />monthly average evapotranspiration (ETo) value weather data (2007-2021). Through September <br />30, 2023, customers used approximately 46% of their estimated allotment of water or 224,894 <br />hundred cubic feet (CCF) (516 acre-feet) out of the allotted 492,244 CCF (1,130 acre-feet), for <br />the nine-month period. <br />The attached graphics include additional WA -12 Agricultural Service water rate and program <br />allocation information. <br />
