BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />MINUTES <br />MONDAY, JULY 10, 2023, 6:30 P.M. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT IN-PERSON/TELEPHONE <br />City fArts&,Innovation ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />3900 MAIN STREET, RIVERSIDE, CA 92522 <br />PRESENT: Chair Gildardo Oceguera, Vice Chair Rebeccah Goldware and Board <br />Members Nipunjeet Gujral, Rosemary Heru, Nancy Melendez, Gary <br />Montgomery, and Peter Wohlgemuth <br />ABSENT: Members David Crohn and Brian Siana <br />Chair Oceguera called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />Member Montgomery led the pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />There was no one wishing to address the Board of Public Utilities. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />It was moved by Member Gujral and seconded by Member Melendez to approve the <br />Consent Calendar as presented below affirming the actions appropriate to each item with <br />the item regarding the Second Amendment to the Commercial Lease Agreement with <br />Ruben Barragan and Luis Hernandez doing business as Fire Up Grill moved to a future meeting <br />date. The motion carried unanimously with Members Crohn and Siana absent. <br />MINUTES <br />The minutes of the meeting of June 26, 2023, were approved as presented. <br />RATIFICATION OF EMERGENCY PURCHASE ORDER 234433 <br />The Board of Public Utilities ratified the emergency Purchase Order 234433 in the amount of <br />$24,000 with FPC Graphics and increased the total purchase order amount to $103,422.30. <br />CONTRACT AMENDMENTS TO EXISTING VEHICLE LEASE AGREEMENTS <br />The Board of Public Utilities approved amendments to six existing Lease Agreements with <br />Altec Capital Services, LLC., Birmingham, Alabama, saving 10 percent on vehicles exceeding <br />12 -month delivery for an estimated expenditure of $454,852.26, upon delivery of replacement <br />vehicles. <br />SECOND AMENDMENT TO COMMERCIAL LEASE AGREEMENT - FIRE UP GRILL - MISSION SQUARE <br />OFFICE BUILDING - 3750 UNIVERSITY AVENUE, SUITE 190 - CONTINUED <br />This item was continued to a future Board of Public Utilities meeting. <br />
