BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />MINUTES <br />MONDAY, JUNE 12,2023,6:30 P.M. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT IN-PERSON/TELEPHONE <br />City SArts&Innovation ART PICK COUNCIL CHAMBER <br />3900 MAIN STREET, RIVERSIDE, CA 92522 <br />PRESENT: Chair Gildardo Oceguera and Board Members David Crohn, Nipunjeet <br />Gujral, Rosemary Heru, Gary Montgomery, Brian Siana, and Peter <br />Wohlgemuth <br />ABSENT: Vice Chair Rebeccah Goldware and Member Nancy Melendez <br />Chair Oceguera called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />Member Wohlgemuth led the pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE <br />Martin Hector de Campos spoke regarding a billing dispute. Malissa McKeith spoke <br />regarding water and electric rates transparency and engagement. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />It was moved by Member Montgomery and seconded by Member Siana to approve the <br />Consent Calendar as presented below affirming the actions appropriate to each item. The <br />motion carried unanimously with Vice Chair Goldware and Member Melendez absent. <br />MINUTES <br />The minutes of the meeting of May 22, 2023 and the revised minutes of May 8, 2023, were <br />approved as presented. <br />REPRESENTATIVES TO OUTSIDE ORGANIZATION COMMITTEE - WESTERN MUNICIPAL WATER <br />DISTRICT JOINT COMMITTEE <br />The Board of Public Utilities recommended that the City Council appoint Board of Public <br />Utilities Chair Gil Oceguera, Member David Crohn, and General Manager Todd Corbin as <br />representatives to Western Municipal Water District Joint Committee. <br />COMMERCIAL ACCOUNT RIGHT OF ENTRY AGREEMENT - FIVE-YEAR TERM - MISSION SQUARE <br />OFFICE - 3750 UNIVERSITY AVENUE <br />The Board of Public Utilities recommended that the City Council (1) approve a Commercial <br />Account Right of Entry Agreement with Charter Communications Operating, LLC operating <br />as Charter for a five-year term; and (2) authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute <br />the Commercial Account Right of Entry Agreement, including making minor, non -substantive <br />changes, and to sign all documents and instruments necessary to complete the transaction. <br />
